Our Space Mission
starlearner.com is the Astronomy portal for
schools, sixth form colleges, Astronomy clubs and individuals – allowing
fast access to all areas of space.
starlearner.com provides our unique e-textbook
for the Edexcel GCSE Astronomy course. Edexcel is the only examination
board offering GCSE Astronomy and we are proud that they have given their
endorsement to our e-textbook.
At starlearner.com we are dedicated to seeing the teaching of Astronomy spread
across the country. We will give the support needed to help teachers and
their students achieve success. A key feature of our website is that we are
available to give you the back-up to the courses you are running – send us an
email or talk to us by phone. We are here to help.
starlearner.com will give practical support from experienced observers,
with advice about telescopes, tips for successful observing and regular
night sky information allowing students to know where and when to look.
You will be able to follow the stages in the building of an observatory
over a period of several months.
starlearner.com aims to unite Astronomers across
the UK and globally through organising unique trips and events. Keep in
touch with your new friends through the starlearner.com Facebook and send
in your images to be credited to you and included on the website in the
Space Art section.
Our Space in Schools Mission
